From time to time, files will be made available that will require a plug-in to display the information. You can download the following plug-ins for free. For general document downloads - see our document library. Note these are NOT recommendations and the FSB cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from your downloading from this section.
General Utilities
Winzip		This is a Windows compression utility that enables you to send (amongst other things) large files via email in a fraction of the time it would normally take.
Irfanview		This is a free graphics viewer which also has the ability to resize graphics images and also alter the image itself. Easy to use, powerful free package recommended for general file viewing and as a graphics tool for fsb webmasters.

Document Readers
Microsoft Excel		This enables people to read your Microsoft Excel spreadsheets even though they do not have Excel on their system.
Microsoft Powerpoint		This enables people to read your Microsoft Powerpoint presentations even though they do not have Powerpoint on their system.
Microsoft Word		This enables people to read your Microsoft word files even though they do not have word on their system.
Adobe Acrobat		This enables people to read your files in a format that can be read on Mac or PC amongst others.
Adobe Acrobat Access		This enables the visually impaired to read Acrobat files.
Media Players
Windows Player		If you have a PC this could already be installed. You can check this by going to start/program/files/accessories/entertainment. If you can't see it you will need your Windows CD to install it. Or if you want the latest version you can download it here. Media Player is available for many computers including PC, MAC, Pocket-PC, Solaris etc. You will need Series 9 player or better to view the videos on this site.
Real Player		A very popular media player which, like Windows Media player, allows you to play audio and/or video. It is not compatible with the videos on this site.
Browser Plugins
Macromedia Flash		This has now become the industry standard for animation on the web making surfing a website a far more enjoyable experience. But to see any flashed sites you will need this plugin
Macromedia Shockwave		This is a similar plugin which can actually do different things than Flash but presently is not as widely used.
Visio Viewer		This allows anyone with a browser to view Microsoft Visio files
