John Wright, National Chairman of the FSB, recently joined other business leaders in meeting the Prime Minister at Number 10 Downing Street. The meeting aimed to bring together stakeholders to examine what can be done to tackle excess alcohol consumption, especially binge-drinking, under-age drinking and anti-social behaviour in the high street. John expressed concern at the meeting that further regulation was not the answer on this issue
FSB Attacks PBR Tax Changes
 The Federation of Small Businesses is taking part in a campaign to reverse the catastrophic tax changes announced in the Pre-Budget Report. The FSB has also joined other businesses in writing to the Chancellor to protest at the change in Capital Gains Tax announced in the PBR. Click Here to view the letter to the Chancellor.
