The FSB has launched a national petition to ‘Keep Trade Local' calling the Prime Minister to secure the future of small shops across the UK and safeguard the choice and competition that people expect in the market place. To halt the closure of 50,000 businesses between now and 2015 click here to sign the petition.

With care of the environment currently at the top of the political agenda, the theme of Conference 2008 was ‘Small Business and the Environment'. John Wright visits Swindon for Press Conference & Awards Dinner
