Regional Keep Trade Local Awards                                                   

This exciting event will recognise will recognise those who have made the choice to support their local community. We are looking for businesses and councils that can demonstrate commitment to locally sourced goods and services.

Our awards are open to all businesses and local authorities throughout Leics. Northants & Rutland that can show their dedication of Keeping Trade Local. The closing date for entries is 5.00pm on 1st August 2008.The Keep Trade Local award dinner will beheld on 9th September 2008 at Barnsdale Lodge Hotel, Oakham.

Going for Growth The FSB Leics. Northants & Rutland Region has just published (in co-operation with with our colleagues on FSB Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire Region and FSB Lincolnshire Region) a publication aimed at influencing local authorities within the East Midlands.
 
The document covers the FSB attitudes towards:
The Local Authority Business Growth Incentive Scheme (LABGI);
National Non-Domestic Rates (NNDR) and Small Business Rates Relief (SBRR);
Public Sector Procurement and small businesses;
Regulation and red tape;
Transport in the East Midlands;
Crime Against Businesses;
Business Waste Management;
Planning;
and the FSB "Keep Trade Local" campaign.

Every Crime Every Time Campaign                                                   
Help to protect your business by reporting Every Crime, Every Time. We encourage you to report crime to the police in the usual way,in the first instance. Alternatively,you can complete the incident report form and/ or log book below. The information you give will be used to inform strategies on tackling crime at a local level as well as influence policy at a regional and national level.
